Important Information

The Probate Division handles trusts and estates of deceased persons. It does not assist the public in filing or processing probate matters in the District Court (Supreme Court Rule 44). Those individuals who are proceeding on their own are required to research the laws at the Washoe County Law Library and prepare their own paperwork in the proper form, according to Nevada Revised Statutes.
