Follow these steps to select and listen to an interpretation channel during a Zoom hearing.
Download the Zoom Client for Meetings at zoom.us/download (external link, opens in new tab).
This only needs to be done the first time you use Zoom on this device. For future meetings, begin with Step 2.
Click your meeting link, or go to zoom.us/join (external link, opens in new tab), enter your Meeting ID or Personal Link Name, and click Join.
Join the meeting using the Zoom desktop application.
Click Join with Computer Audio.
After the host activates Language Interpretation Mode, click Interpretation.
Select the language you would like to hear.
(Optional) To hear only the interpreted language, select Mute Original Audio.
Chromebooks and certain Linux operating systems may not display the option to select a language channel in the Zoom desktop application.
If the meeting includes a “Join from your browser” option, select that instead of “Open zoom.us.” Otherwise, you may need to join the meeting from a different device.
Download the Zoom app from the App Store or Google Play Store, or visit zoom.us/download (external link, opens in new tab).

Tap your meeting link and then tap the Zoom icon to open the app. Alternatively, open the Zoom app, tap Join a Meeting, enter the Meeting ID, and tap Join.
Choose whether to join with or without video.
Tap WiFi or Cellular Data to join audio.
After the host activates Language Interpretation Mode, tap More (•••). On phones, this appears in the bottom-right corner. On tablets, it appears in the top-right corner. If you do not see it, tap the screen to display the controls.
Tap Language Interpretation.
Select the language you would like to hear.
(Optional) To hear only the interpreted language, turn on Mute Original Audio.
Tap Done to return to the meeting.
