If you would like to use one of the Court’s computers for Zoom and receive assistance from staff, please go to the Resource Center on the third floor of the north tower of 1 S. Sierra Street or to the Law Library on the first floor of 75 Court Street in Reno.
Open your internet browser and go to: www.zoom.us (external link, opens in new tab)
Click the “JOIN” button located in the top-right corner of the screen.

Enter your Meeting ID or Personal Link Name, then click “Join.”
When prompted, download the Zoom application. Click the download file shown in the bottom-left corner of your screen.

A pop-up window may appear asking if you want to run the application. Click “Run.”
After downloading (this may take several minutes), another pop-up may appear. Click “Yes.”
Once installation is complete, click “Join Meeting.”
Zoom will now be installed on your computer. You can use the application without returning to the Zoom website.
Important: Your computer must have a webcam, speakers, and a microphone to participate.
If the meeting includes simultaneous language interpretation, select “Join with Computer Audio.”
Open the App Store or Google Play Store on your phone or tablet.
Search for “Zoom.”
Tap Install to download the Zoom application.

After installation, open the Zoom app and tap the blue “Join a Meeting” button.
Enter your Meeting ID and your name, then tap “Join.” On the next screen, select “Join with Video.”

You will enter the waiting room. When the host admits you, select “WiFi or Cellular Data” when prompted to join audio.

You can turn your microphone and camera on or off using the buttons at the top or bottom of the screen.
