Pretrial Services Zoom Check-in Protocols
You should dress appropriately; this requires you to be fully clothed at all times. You may wear your work uniform or clothing, if you are checking in during a work break. No sunglasses.
When you join, you will be in the waiting room. A PSO will admit you when ready.
Ensure your camera and microphone are on.
Choose a quiet place to complete your check-in. Cell phones should be muted, doors to rooms closed, and disruptions minimized. Avoid being outside if it is windy.
Be aware of your Zoom background and the area behind you. Avoid distractions.
Try not to sit directly in front of or behind a window. The light or reflection can affect the video.
Do not smoke, eat, or drink during your Zoom check-in.
Do not walk around on the phone during your Zoom check-in. Remain seated or standing still.
Do not drive while you are completing your Zoom check-in. If you are in a vehicle, safely pull over and stop the vehicle before completing your Zoom check-in.
Do not speak over or interrupt anyone. Use appropriate language.
Family members and friends may not complete your Zoom check-in for you.
If you do not follow the rules, you may be removed from the meeting, your will check-in will be marked as missed and the court may be advised of your actions.

Copy requests may take up to 5 business days and will be emailed to you.
All criminal fines and fees paid will be processed and applied to the case on the next business day.
Payments made online will have a processing fee. The fee is retained by the processing company, not the Second Judicial District Court.
Paying online for a case that has gone to warrant will not prevent you from being arrested.
Please have the case number and the name of the defendant/party available for accurate processing of the online payment.

Phone payments can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling AllPaid at (888) 604-7888. The representative will ask for the "PLC". The PLC for Second Judicial District Court is a004gz

Payments by phone will have a credit/debit card processing fee assessed. The fee is retained by the processing company, not Second Judicial District Court.

Payments made by mail will need to be in the form of law firm check, cashier's check or money order.
Personal checks will not be accepted.
If you wish to have a receipt mailed to you, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with payment.
