Wifi

The Washoe County Second Judicial Court provides Wi-Fi for business use while on our premises. Our Wi-Fi accepts connections on the following standards: 802.11ac, 802.11n, and 802.11g.

Devices using legacy standards will NOT be able to connect to the Wi-Fi due to their negative impact on speeds for all users connected to the same Wi-Fi access point.

The court leverages Wi-Fi Steering to encourage connected users towards 802.11ac. If the user cannot connect on 802.11ac, the system will allow connections on the 2.4GHz frequency at either 802.11g or 802.11n

Please ensure that your devices are up to date with the latest hardware and software.
