Paper Filings

For filing documents into your case you may choose one of the following options:
  1. Electronic Filing - If you are not currently signed up please visit the electronic filing tab at
  2. By placing your documents in the drop box located at 1 South Sierra Street main lobby. The lobby is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The lobby is closed on all holidays.
  3. By mailing your documents to Second Judicial District Court Filing Office, 75 Court Street, Reno, NV 89501.

E-Filing Hub

For filings in case types that have already become mandatory electronic filing, we have the E-filing hub. With several computers and a scanner, you will have everything you need to facilitate the electronic filing of documents into your case. You may also sign up for a free eFlex account with access to file or view documents from your case.

Public Terminals

At our public terminals you may view public court documents, whether or not you have an eFlex account. In order to obtain hard-copies of those documents, you may fill out a short copy request form. Copies will then be provided at a fee of $0.50 per page. Certified copies are available for $3.00 per document. If your case is confidential, please be sure to bring a government-issued photo ID so we can give you access to your case.

Fee and Fine Payments

Payments assessed to court cases such as mediation fees or criminal fines may be paid by using GovPay, or, by sending a cashier's check or money order with your case number to:
