Wes Ayres

Biography

Wesley M. Ayres has served as the Discovery Commissioner for the Second Judicial District Court since 1993. He also served as the Court’s ADR Commissioner from 1994 through 2009, and as the Court’s Short Trial Commissioner from 2005 through 2009. He has participated in numerous CLE programs on discovery, civil procedure, ADR, and the Nevada Short Trial Program, and has written about these subjects in Nevada Lawyer and in his monthly column in The Writ. Commissioner Ayres has also taught courses on civil procedure, contracts, and legal research as an instructor at Truckee Meadows Community College.
