Biography
Angelina Wencke was promoted to Manager of the Court Services Assessment Department in August 2020 and has been with the Second Judicial District Court since 2015. Ms. Wencke oversees the Court Services Assessment team who work nearly twenty-four hours a day at the Washoe County Detention Facility to provide services to all seven local courts.
Prior to joining the Second Judicial District Court, she worked as a paralegal and office manager for a local criminal and family law attorney where she assisted counsel in state and federal cases. Ms. Wencke received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University; earned her Paralegal Studies Certificate from the University of Nevada, Reno; and, is a certified Pretrial Services Professional through the National Association of Pretrial Services Agencies. She is currently a member of the Nevada Association of Court Executives.
Ms. Wencke is passionate about the vital and relevant field of pretrial services and works diligently to lead with excellence and compassion. She was born and raised in Reno and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to live music and cooking.
