The Probate Division handles trusts and decedent's estates.  It does not assist the public in filing or processing probate petitions in the District Court. Those individuals who are proceeding on their own are required to research the laws at the Washoe County Law Library and prepare their own pleadings in the proper form, according to Nevada Revised Statutes.

Probate Court is heard every Thursday at 8:00 o’clock
